This task was adapted from BbLearn and is almost identical to the one there set for week 20 in GAEN201
GAEN N201 writing letter of complaint from Unit3 ex5 p23.docx
When asked to try and write a letter on paper, starting with introducing themselves as pilots, all students refused
Students were asked to answer the questions that had been pasted to their Google Docs. Some attempted 2 or three of the questions. There was widespread sharing of content among the students (they shared their files with each other and most work submitted was replicated in someone else's work submitted). 8 students wrote in their documents, 4 wrote nothing in documents they created, 5 would not share Google Docs
Listen to Audio 16
and fill in exercise 4 on this worksheet
Answer questions based on those in the textbook at the bottom of p.23. These questions require students to listen to the exchanges in Ex.4 Track 16 and understand what the pilots and ground vehicles were doing. The questions were designed to give students practice writing at sentence level.
In your Google Doc write COMPLETE SENTENCES to answer these questions.
Say where each vehicle is and what it is doing
Please write your own sentences.
If your work is the same as anyone else's, then you have either given your work to another student or copy / pasted from that student.
I will not waste time with feedback on such work. I will print it and return it to the students.
I will keep copies in my file. All students involved get zero.
