    The lesson goes like this 

    1. Print page 1 on one page with the back side blank; print pages 2 and 3 back to back
    2. Give them page 1, and have students answer the questions on the first page
    3. Let them listen again if necessary, go over the answers, point them out in the transcript
    4. Then play the video from 6 minutes onwards
    5. Give them pages 2/3 and have them answer the questions on the last page
    6. If time, play it again, , go over the answers point them out in the transcript
    7. Proclaim them prepared for their test tomorrow

    1. You can work in groups of 2 or 3
    2. Pick a video from  https://www.ted.com/topics 
    3. Make sure the talk you pick is not too long (5-10 minutes long should be good enough).
    4. You will need to get your teacher to approve the TED talk you picked.
    5. Next, you will listen to the talk using your headsets as many times as you wish and write notes to summarize the key points.

    4. Your hobbies 
    5. Why you want to be a pilot

     

    Now work with a partner.

    Your partner is the interviewer. You are being interviewed.

    Tell your partner the same thing.

     

    The partner writes your information on a sheet of paper.

    Instructions:

    1. Write in complete sentences
    2. The partner puts HIS name on the paper
    3. Do NOT write the name of the student being interviewed 
    4. Hand the paper in to the teacher when done 

     

    In a later class the teacher tries to return each paper to the student who was interviewed
